Met family for Sunday Lunch, dog friendly. Charming restaurant area. Plenty of parking. Food was excellent, one of the best roast dinners I have experienced in a Gastro pub. Hot and very tasty. Very attentive staff.
This was on my short list of researched restaurants for our trip. We both enjoyed our meal, but it doesn’t stand out my memory for some reason. I do recall that it was a fairly heavy meal and I didn’t feel like dessert (sacrilegious!). If we hadn’t already had reservations, we might have selected the Wild Rabbit instead, where we stopped for a pint beforehand.

Beautiful Pub/Restaurant with excellent food and great staff and dog friendly! I had the Whitebait and Pork Belly to start which was delicious then the Hake and Dauphinoise potatoes which was definitely worth the price. Excellent blonde waitress who was very attentive and a great start to a birthday weekend! Thank you!
This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. We stayed one night and were blown away by the attentive service, the wonderful food, and our beautiful room and en suite. Our room amenities were top notch and the furnishings were beautiful. We loved the special touch of fresh milk delivered to our door to go with French press coffee. (Thank you for not forcing us to drink instant!!) We ate dinner in the pub and enjoyed every bite in the cozy, warm atmosphere. And in the morning, the kitchen packed us a lovely take out breakfast so we could make a tight train connection, while also offering any drink we wanted to go. We loved our stay in such a beautiful town.
Visited today with friends from the US. We were given a lovely welcome and we were really impressed by the down to earth friendly spirit of the young staff ( I'm in my 50s - so there we go). We all had fish & chips and it was top class. The fish had real taste and a delight to eat unlike many places I've been to. We will be back and thanks for making our day out with friends so memorable for all the right reasons. Well done The Kingham Plough staff.
Eaten here twice this holiday. Both times, food was amazing. The staff are wonderful and are a credit to the place. If we're in the area, we'd probably go out of our way for a feed!
One of our favourite dining places in the Cotswolds. My partner and I always pop by for dinner every time we come to the Cotswolds. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is always so attentive and sweet and the food is out of this world.
